Whether you’re coming to our Fort Collins office specifically for dermaplaning or you’re considering the treatment as an add-on to another service, there are a few key steps we will take to ensure an effective appointment.
Step 01.
When you arrive at Premier Skin Clinic for dermaplaning in Fort Collins, our skin specialist will first ensure that you do not have any active acne, as the sweeping motion of a dermaplaning treatment can inflame and exacerbate this issue by spreading bacteria across the skin.
Step 02.
Once we have determined your skin is ready for dermaplaning, we will cleanse the face and chin with a mild cleanser. This will allow the dermaplaning treatment to be as effective as possible!
Step 03.
During the dermaplaning treatment itself, we will gently sweep a surgical scalpel across the surface of the skin in even strokes. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity, we may decide to do more than one sweep across each treatment area.
Step 04.
Once your dermaplaning is complete, we will proceed to treat the skin with any secondary treatments desired.
