Meet Lisa, Our Clinic Coordinator
If you’ve been in our office, you’ve probably seen our clinic coordinator, Lisa, welcoming guests at the front desk, educating clients about our skincare products and services, and working to keep our facility running smoothly.
Lisa has worked with Premier Skin Clinic since 2017, after moving to Colorado over 30 years ago. Like many of us at Premier, Lisa uses and has a passion for the products and procedures we offer at the clinic.
Lisa sat for an interview recently, so we could share her perspective with you, our wonderful readers and clients!
Q: What is your role at Premier?
A: I am the clinic coordinator at Premier, which means I take care of everything from scheduling guests to conducting audits, handling discrepancies, ordering, and equipment scheduling.
Q: When and how did you start working for Premier Skin Clinic?
A: It was four years in October. I started out as a client at the Premier Vein and Pain Center in Johnstown and had procedures with Julie [Quickert, owner of Premier Skin Clinic]. Like most of us who work at Premier, I went from client to working for the clinic because I loved the services and I believe in what we offer.
Q: Why would you recommend Premier Skin Clinic to those looking for skincare products and medical procedures?
A: I think the products we offer, like ZO (Zein Obagi), are top-of-the-line. It sells itself – people try it, they get results, and they’re sold. We don’t try to upsell. We are results-oriented. We want people to walk away satisfied. No matter what it is – product or procedure – we want you to get those results.
Q: What are some common misconceptions about medical spas?
A: We see misconceptions where people think a medical spa is just like any other spa. They see us in the same category as a hair or nail salon, without realizing we have years of medical training. Only registered nurses and nurse practitioners perform procedures at Premier Skin Clinic.
Another thing I see is hesitation from people who think some of our services, like Botox or fillers, will make them look fake. We are all about natural looks for our clients and ourselves (PSC staff). We don’t want to look fake, and we know you don’t either. We want our clients to leave looking natural and feeling beautiful. The fact that you’ve had a procedure performed should be undetectable – we want you to look like the best version of yourself. All of our staff use and believe in the products and procedures we sell.
Q: What do you like best about your job?
A: Getting to see our clients looking and feeling their best. We have some amazing clients here, and I love to work with them. We are fortunate to see so many nice, sweet people in our office. And, I love the products. I believe in what we do.
Q: What product or service could you NOT live without?
A: Probably the PDO threads, also known as the lunch-hour facelift. You get instant gratification, you see results right then and there, and the results are longer lasting than fillers. The threads stimulate and produce collagen, so you never go back to where you started. Unlike many other medical spas, our threads are also performed with ultrasound guidance for perfect placement.
Q: Any reflections on 2021 in the skincare business?
A: It started out rough, but we finished very well. Premier Skin Clinic had a good year – our 5th anniversary open house was our biggest yet. After five years, and even after COVID, we are going strong. Our team continues to grow.
Q: What are you most excited about in 2022? Any new skincare trends we should know about?
A: At the end of 2021, we added our Forever Young BBL Body Hero, a laser treatment that treats the body. We launched that service in November. I am excited, with our new staff, to see PSC grow. Europe is very advanced in skincare, and our team spends a few days in Europe each December, so we always have training on the latest and greatest.
